Child Care Center Modular Units, $136,000: Purchase and <br />installation of two modular units to facilitate latchkey child <br />care services at Paul J. Rogers and Lincoln Elementary <br />Schools. <br />2. Code Enforcement Program -City Target Areas, $87,500: <br />Additional funding for the City's comprehensive building <br />inspection/code enforcement program in City target areas to <br />improve public health and safety. <br />3. Street Improvements, $53,000: Design and construction of <br />sidewalks, curbs and gutters in missing areas on south side of <br />Laurel Street from 6th Street to Pennsylvania, east side of <br />Pennsylvania Avenue from Laurel Street to Olive Street, north <br />side of Olive Street, from Pennsylvania Avenue to 7th Street. <br />4. Alley Improvements, $4,300: Paving and installation of one <br />street light on alley from 11th Street to 12th Street, between <br />"G" and "H" Streets. <br />5. Street Improvements, $16,400: Repaving to include cold <br />planing of Fairview Avenue from Colton Avenue to Olive Place. <br />6. Street Improvements, $110,500: Repaving to include cold <br />planing of "C" Street from N. La Cadena Drive to N. Mt. Vernon <br />Avenue. <br />7. District Four Street Improvements, $165,500: Repaving to <br />include cold planing of 4th Street from Southern Pacific <br />Railroad southerly to "N" Street; 5th Street from "N" Street <br />to Congress Street; and Jefferson Lane from Congress Street to <br />Fogg Street. <br />8. Veterans Park Recreation Improvements, Phase II, $35,000: <br />Purchase and installation of playground equipment, picnic <br />tables and bar-b-que stands to enhance neighborhood <br />recreational opportunities. <br />9. Senior Citizens Outreach Program, $14,000: Continuing <br />services at the Hutton Center to provide information, referral <br />and risk reduction services to senior citizens. <br />10. Removal of Architectural Barriers, $20,000: Identification <br />and elimination of barriers which restrict the mobility and <br />accessibility of elderly and handicapped persons at the Colton <br />Civic Center, Hutton Center, and Pete Luque Community Center. <br />
