R-119-95 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF COLTON ADOPTING AND COMMITTING <br />TO PLANS AND SCHEDULES FOR COMPLIANCE <br />WITH CEASE AND DESIST ORDER #95-36 <br />WHEREAS, on April 7, 1995, the State of California Regional Water <br />Quality Control Board, Santa Ana Region, placed the City of Colton under a <br />Cease and Desist Order for non-compliance with its NPDES permit for <br />operation of the City's Wastewater Treatment Plant; and, <br />WHEREAS, on August 8, 1995, the City Council of the City of Colton <br />approved and adopted Plans and Schedules for Compliance with Cease and <br />Desist Order #95-36, and made a firm commitment to accomplishing the <br />identified tasks within the dates contained in the Schedules; and, <br />WHEREAS, at the request of the Regional Water Quality Control <br />Board, City staff has made minor revisions to the City Council's adopted <br />Plans and Schedules for Compliance with Cease and Desist Order #95-36. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the <br />City of Colton does adopt and commit to the attached Plans and Schedules <br />for Compliance with Cease and Desist Order #95-36, and has directed City <br />staff to move with all possible speed in implementing the Plan. <br />PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 5th day of December, <br />1995. <br />ATTEST: <br />.mea- A,?� <br />HELEN A.
