R- 4 7- 9 5 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF COLTON DESIGNATING THE <br />CITY CLERK TO ATTEND AND KEEP <br />MINUTES OF ALL CITY CLOSED SESSION <br />MEETINGS <br />WHEREAS, the City Council is authorized pursuant to California Government Code <br />Section 54957.2 to designate a clerk or other employee of the City to keep and enter in a minute <br />book, which is not a public record and shall be kept confidential, a record of topics discussed <br />and decisions made at all closed session meetings of the City Council; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to appoint the City Clerk or the designee of the <br />City Clerk to keep such a minute book of all closed session meetings of the City Council. <br />NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON DOES <br />HEREBY RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. Pursuant to the provisions of Section 54957.2 of the California Government <br />Code, the City Clerk or the designee of the City Clerk if the City Clerk is unavailable, shall be <br />designated to keep and enter in a minute book which is not a public record and shall be kept <br />confidential, a record of all actions taken at all closed session meetings of the City Council. <br />Section 2. The City Clerk or a designee of the City Clerk shall attend all closed <br />session meetings of the City Council for purposes of keeping a minute book of such meetings <br />commencing on the date of adoption of this Resolution. <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED THIS 16th day of May, 1995. <br />ATTEST: <br />Helen Ramos, City Clerk <br />v � <br />George V.
