R-75,95 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON, <br />CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF THE <br />INTERCHANGE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE DEPARTMENT OF <br />WATER RESOURCES OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA AND THE <br />CITY OF COLTON <br />WHEREAS, the Department of Water Resources of the State of California, <br />DWR), a State Water Resources Development Agency, is engaged in the generation, <br />transmission, sale and purchase of electric power and energy; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Colton may from time to time purchase short-term <br />economy energy, and firm power from DWR; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Colton and DWR desire to enter into an interchange <br />agreement to facilitate the interchange of power and energy between the parties and to <br />establish the terms and conditions for such exchanges. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mayor of the City Colton is <br />authorized to execute said Interchange Agreement between the parties; and the Electric <br />Utility Director, or his designated subordinate, is hereby authorized to enter into future <br />transactions that arise under the Agreement. <br />PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED this 18th day of July, 1995. <br />ATTEST: <br />Helen A.
