R-119-96 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br />AMENDING THE ADOPTED BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR 1996-1997 <br />AND AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF SEVEN PERSONAL <br />COMPUTERS. <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Colton approved and <br />adopted the budget for Fiscal Year 1996/1997 on June 17, 1996; and <br />WHEREAS, the City's Community Development Department budget <br />does not include an allocation for Capital Equipment funds to purchase new <br />equipment which is required to connect the Department to the new H. P. 9000 <br />main frame so that staff can continue to serve the public; and <br />WHEREAS, the increased revenues and expenses in the amount of <br />$42,000 will not affect existing funds, revenues, or cash reserves of the City's <br />General Fund; and <br />WHEREAS, the Business License Division has submitted a claim for <br />$42,000.00 reimbursement to the State of California for Fiscal Year <br />1995/1996, pursuant to Senate Bill 90. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the <br />City of Colton amends the adopted Budget for Fiscal Year 1996-1997 in the <br />following manner: <br />1. Increase revenues and expenses $ 42,000 <br />2.
