R-123-96 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />COLTON, CALIFORNIA REVISING CUSTOMER SERVICE POLICY <br />NUMBER 17 TO ALLOW TWENTY (20) DAYS BETWEEN MAILING <br />AND DELINQUENT DATE FOR COMMERCIAL CUSTOMERS <br />WHEREAS, the City of Colton is a general law city, duly organized and existing under the <br />laws of the State of California and situated in the County of San Bernardino; and, <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Colton has jurisdiction over the implementation <br />of rules and rates for the Electric Utility as propounded in the Customer Service Policy; and, <br />WHEREAS, the Electric Utility has proposed revising Policy Number 17 attached as Exhibit <br />"A" to the Customer Service Policy; and, <br />WHEREAS, the City Council must approve any changes in the Customer Service Policy <br />prior to the implementation of any proposed changes, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Colton City Council finds that it <br />would be appropriate to adopt the revision to Customer Service Policy Number 17 as presented in <br />"Exhibit A" attached hereto and made a part hereof to become effective on January 1, 1997. All <br />previous resolutions amending, modifying or otherwise changing policies and or rate schedules are <br />hereby superseded. <br />PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED this 5th day of November, 1996. <br />ATTEST: <br />Teresa Delgado <br />Interim City Clerk <br />GeeNge V.
