R-126-96 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />COLTON, CALIFORNIA REVISING CUSTOMER SERVICE POLICY <br />NUMBER 19 TO INCREASE THE TIME FROM SIX (6) MONTHS TO <br />ONE (1) YEAR FOR RECOMPUTING ERRONEOUS BILLS AND <br />GRANT THE ELECTRIC UTILITY DIRECTOR LIMITED <br />DISCRETION ON UNDERCHARGES <br />WHEREAS, the City of Colton is a general law city, duly organized and existing under the <br />laws of the State of California and situated in the County of San Bernardino; and, <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Colton has jurisdiction over the implementation <br />of rules and rates for the Electric Utility as propounded in the Customer Service Policy; and, <br />WHEREAS, the Electric Utility has proposed revising Policy Number 19 attached as Exhibit <br />"A" to the Customer Service Policy; and, <br />WHEREAS, the City Council must approve any changes in the Customer Service Policy <br />prior to the implementation of any proposed changes. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Colton City Council finds that it <br />would be appropriate to adopt the revision to Customer Service Policy Number 19 as presented in <br />"Exhibit A" attached hereto and made a part hereof to become effective on January 1, 1997.
