R-19 -96 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br />PRIORITIZING THE TYPES OF PROJECTS TO BE FUNDED BY COMMUNITY <br />DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT FUNDS FOR FISCAL YEAR 1996-97, AND <br />AUTHORIZING THE REPROGRAMMING OF CDBG UNOBLIGATED FUNDS TO <br />SUPPLEMENT THE FUNDING OF PROJECTS FOR FISCAL YEAR 1996-97. <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Colton elected to enter into a Cooperation <br />Agreement with the County of San Bernardino in order to receive Community Development <br />Block Grant (CDBG) funds; and <br />WHEREAS, as a Cooperating City, the City of Colton anticipates receiving $379,000 <br />in Community Development Block Grant funds for Fiscal Year 1996-97; and <br />WHEREAS, the City has identified an additional $207,015 of unobligated Community <br />Development Block Grant Funds from completed prior year projects and wishes to reprogram <br />said funds to supplement the funding of eligible projects for Fiscal Year 1996-97; and <br />WHEREAS, the City must inform the County as to which eligible projects will be <br />funded with CDBG funds. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Colton <br />prioritizes projects and allocates CDBG funds for Fiscal Year 1996-97 as listed in Attachment <br />"A," and authorizes the reprogramming of unobligated CDBG funds to supplement the funding <br />of Fiscal Year 1996-97 Projects, as listed in Attachment "B." <br />PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED this 21a` day of February, 1996. <br />ATTEST: <br />MALIK FREEMAN <br />CITY CLERK <br />v <br />G RGE .FULP <br />MAYOR <br />
