None disclosed. <br /> <br /> <br />MAYOR AND COUNCIL DISCUSSION ITEMS <br /> Discussion and Possible Direction to Staff Regarding a Moratorium on Warehouse & Truck Storage <br />Projects <br /> <br />CM Suchil introduced this item for discussion; stated his reason to make sure we address environmental <br />compliance by the city; to reduce air pollution; sometimes mitigation not addressed; and worth it to take a time <br />out and hopes the city makes changes to warehouses and truck storage facilities; requested a 45 day <br />moratorium. <br /> <br />Council Discussion <br />Discernment and discussion between Mayor and Councilmembers present, with clarification provide by staff: <br />City Manager Smith. <br /> <br />Consensus asked by Mayor and Councilmembers present with direction to staff regarding a 45 day moratorium <br />on warehouse and truck storage projects; no objection, so noted. <br /> <br />*************************************************************************** <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> <br />(1) Fee Amendment - Quimby Park In-Lieu Fees <br /> <br />TIME AND PLACE FIXED TO CONSIDER A PUBLIC HEARING TO APPROVE AND ADOPT A <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING <br />QUIMBY PARK IN-LIEU FEES, RESOLUTION NO. R-39-21. <br /> <br />Mayor Navarro declared the Public Hearing open. <br /> <br />City Clerk Padilla submitted the Notice of the Public Hearing (on file in the City Clerk’s Office) and there were no <br />reports of protests or objections thereto. <br /> <br />Staff Presentation <br />Director Tomich, Development Services Department; presented for Council consideration an overview of the <br />agenda item and requested approval of staff’s recommendation. <br /> <br />Public Comment <br />None <br /> <br />Motion and Second by CM Suchil/CM González to close the public hearing. <br />Vote: Unanimous <br /> <br />Council Discussion <br />Discernment and discussion between Mayor and Councilmembers present, with clarification provided by staff: <br />Director Tomich; and City Manager Smith. <br /> <br />Motion and Second by CM González/CM Koperski to approve and adopt Resolution No. R-39-21.
