2021 JULY 14 SPEC MTNG JOINT CC/PLANNING COMMISSION 3 <br />The City Council confirmed the candidate vacant and underutilized sites included in the Draft <br />Housing Element, with the following additional comments: <br />• Examine parcels west of Wildrose Ave., as well as the parcel adjacent to Woodpine Ave. <br />(occupied by office building) within the Hub City Centre Specific Plan as candidate <br />housing sites (future Specific Plan amendment). <br />• Examine applying the Residential Overlay zone to City-owned properties tentatively <br />planned for a future community soccer park (south of Florez St. and Fernando St., south <br />and east of Congress St. and Fogg St.). <br />• Work with the Emerald Village II/III applicant, John Reichel, on amending the Vacant <br />Sites Inventory to address his concerns, consistent with State law. <br />Staff will follow-up, edit the draft Housing Element as directed, and submit to State HCD for <br />review. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />At 6:06 p.m. Mayor Navarro adjourned the Special Council Meeting. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />_________________________________ <br />Carolina R.
