2021 SEPTEMBER 07 CC/CUA/CPFA/CHA MEETING 1 - <br />CITY COUNCIL/COLTON UTILITY AUTHORITY/ <br />COLTON PUBLIC FINANCING AUTHORITY AND COLTON HOUSING AUTHORITY <br />CLOSED SESSION MINUTES <br /> <br />September 7, 2021 <br /> <br />Closed Session Meeting was held on the above given date at 5:00 p.m., in City Hall, located at 650 North La <br />Cadena Drive, Colton, California with Mayor Navarro presiding. <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL ROLL CALL <br />Councilmembers present were Toro (appeared at 5:50 p.m.) , Cisneros, Koperski, González, Echevarria, Suchil, <br />and Mayor Navarro. <br /> <br />STAFF PRESENT <br />City Manager Smith, City Attorney Campos, and City Clerk Padilla. <br /> <br />CLOSED SESSION <br />City Attorney Campos announced the City Council would meet in Closed Session to Discuss Item A/B/C. <br /> <br />A. CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL -WORKERS’ COMPENSATION CLAIM <br />Pursuant to California Government Code, Section 54956.95. <br />Case Name(s): Eric Campa v. City of Colton <br /> <br />B. CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL - Existing Litigation <br />Pursuant to California Government Code, Section 54956.9 <br />Name of Case: Modern Pacific Homes LLC v. CONFERENCE WITH LABOR NEGOTIATORS <br />Pursuant to Government Code Section 54957.6 <br />Agency designated representatives: Tom Cody, Interim Human Resources Director <br />Employee Groups: <br />Teamsters Mid Managers Unit <br /> International Brotherhood of Electric Workers, Local 47 - Electric Division <br />International Brotherhood of Electric Workers, Local 47 - Water/Wastewater Division <br />Colton Police Management Association (CPMA) <br />Colton Firefighters Association (CFA) <br />Confidential Employees <br />Executive Employees <br /> <br />Mayor Navarro adjourned the meeting to Closed Session at 5:01 p.m. and at 6:00 p.m. the meeting reconvened, <br />with all members present heretofore. <br /> <br />City Attorney Campos announced that the City Council did meet in Closed Session and discussed Item A: No <br />Reportable Action; Item B: No Reportable Action (Councilmember Suchil recused himself from the closed <br />session meeting due to a conflict of interest; he is precluded from considering the closed session Item B as a <br />member of the body, by virtue of his ownership of property within 500 feet of the project site related to the item <br />before Council); Item C: Discussion of item will continue after the adjournment of the regular council meeting. <br /> <br /> <br />*************************************************************************** <br />
