R-52-96 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br />CALIFORNIA, DECLARING ITS INTENTIONS TO LEVY ANNUAL <br />ASSESSMENTS AND FOR PRELIMINARY APPROVAL OF THE <br />ANNUAL ENGINEER'S REPORT FOR THE LANDSCAPE AND <br />LIGHTING MAINTENANCE DISTRICT NO. 1.9 FISCAL YEAR 1996/97. <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Colton, pursuant to the provisions of <br />"Landscaping and Lighting Act of 1972" being Division 15, part 2 of the Streets and Highways <br />Code of the State of California, (the "Act"), did, by previous Resolution, order the preparation of <br />an Annual Engineer's Report ("Report") for the district known and designated as the <br />LANDSCAPE AND LIGHTING MAINTENANCE DISTRICT NO. 1 (DISTRICT), and, <br />WHEREAS, there has now been presented to this legislative body the Report as required by <br />said Act, and, <br />WHEREAS, this legislative body has carefully examined and reviewed the Report as <br />presented, and is preliminarily satisfied with the District, each and all of the budget items and <br />documents as set forth therein, and is satisfied that the levy amounts, on a preliminary basis, have <br />been spread in accordance with the benefits received from the improvements, operation, <br />maintenance and services to be performed within each benefit zone, as set forth in said Report. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, AND ORDERED BY THE CITY OF <br />COLTON, CALIFORNIA AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1.
