1 <br />2 <br />3 <br />4 <br />s <br />6 <br />7 <br />8 <br />9 <br />10 <br />11 <br />12 <br />13 <br />14 <br />is <br />16 <br />17 <br />18 <br />19 <br />20 <br />21 <br />22 <br />23 <br />24 <br />25 <br />26 <br />27 <br />28 <br />29 <br />RESOLUTION NO. x-53-96 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />COLTON, CALIFORNIA, INITIATING PROCEEDINGS FOR THE <br />ANNUAL LEVY OF THE LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE <br />DISTRICT NO. 1 PURSUANT TO THE LANDSCAPING AND <br />LIGHTING ACT OF 1972, FISCAL YEAR 1996/97. <br />The City Council of the City of Colton, California does resolve as follows: <br />WHEREAS, The City Council of the City of Colton, confirms the area known as the <br />Landscape & Lighting District No. 1 is within the boundaries of the City of Colton; <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Colton may be authorized to provide for the levy <br />and collection of annual assessments by the County of San Bernardino under provisions of the <br />Landscape and Lighting Act of 1972, Part 2 (commencing with section 22500) of Division 15 of <br />the California Streets and Highways Code (the Act); to pay for the improvements, operation, <br />maintenance and services for street trees, parkways, median islands, perimeter landscaping, open <br />space, drainage area, entry wall, signage, concrete pathway, street lights and all appurtenant <br />facilities and operations related thereto. <br />WHEREAS, the City of Colton has retained Muni Financial, Inc. (MFS), for the purpose of <br />assisting with the annual levy of the Landscape Maintenance District No. 1 (District), and to <br />prepare and file a report with the City Clerk in accordance with the Act. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, DETERMINED, AND ORDERED BY THE <br />CITY OF COLTON, CALIFORNIA, AS FOLLOWS: <br />* * * * * * * * * * <br />* * * * * * * * * * <br />Page 1 <br />
