R -68A-96 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br />AUTHORIZING A BUDGET AMENDMENT IN THE AMOUNT OF <br />$126,000 FOR NEIGHBORHOOD SERVICES "COMMUNITY ADVOCACY <br />PROGRAM". <br />WHEREAS, the budget for the City of Colton for the Fiscal year 1995 -1996 was <br />approved and adopted on June 20, 1995 by Resolution No. R-61-95.; and <br />WHEREAS, the reallocation of appropriations between departmental activities <br />may be made by the City Manager and amendments (increases/decreases) to the budget shall <br />be by approval and Resolution of the City Council; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council on April 24, 1996 increased the appropriations of <br />the Police Department budget by $400,000; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of <br />Colton does hereby transfer the amount of $126,000 from the Police Department $400,000 <br />allocation to Neighborhood Services for the sole purpose of implementing a "Colton <br />Community Advocacy Program" as alternative to gang and other criminal behavior of the <br />youth. <br />APPROVED AND ADOPTED THIS 18 DAY OF JUNE, 1996. <br />ATTEST <br />�' MALIK D.
