R-10-97 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br />DESIGNATING THE CITY MANAGER AS THE CITY OF COLTON'S <br />AUTHORIZED REPRESENTATIVE TO SIGN AND FILE A FINANCIAL <br />ASSISTANCE APPLICATION FOR A LOAN FROM THE STATE WATER <br />RESOURCES CONTROL BOARD FOR THE EXPANSION AND TITLE 22 <br />REPAIRS TO THE SECONDARY WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT <br />WHEREAS, on April 7, 1995, the State of California Regional Water <br />Quality Control Board, Santa Ana Region, placed the City of Colton under a <br />Cease and Desist Order for non-compliance with its NPDES permit for <br />operation of the City's Wastewater Treatment Plant; and, <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Colton, that the City Manager or his <br />designee is hereby authorized and directed to sign and file, for and on <br />behalf of the City of Colton, a Financial Assistance Application for a loan <br />from the State Water Resources Control Board in the amount not -to - <br />exceed $16,367,000.00 design and construction of 2.0 MGD Secondary <br />Treatment Expansion and Renovation for Hydraulic Reliability, and; <br />BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Colton hereby agrees and further <br />does authorize the aforementioned representative or his designee to certify <br />that the City of Colton has, and will, comply with all applicable State and <br />Federal statutory and regulatory requirements related to any State and <br />Federal loan funds received, and;--------------------------------------------------- <br />
