SCHEDULE CTC <br />COMPETITION TRANSITION CHARGE <br />PURPOSE <br />Page No, 64 <br />The purpose of the Competition Transition Charge is to provide for the recovery of costs incurred <br />by the Colton Electric Utility to provide for the electric service needs of existing and future <br />customers under the premise that, prior to December 20, 1995, the utility had the reasonable <br />expectation that it would be the exclusive provider of electric energy service to all customers <br />within its service territory. <br />APPLICABILITY <br />Applicable to all existing and future retail customers of the City of Colton Electric Utility who <br />were such customers on or after December 20, 1995, and who elect to obtain electric energy from <br />a provider other than the Colton Electric Utility. <br />COMPETITION TRANSITION CHARGE (per kWh) <br />Date of enactment of Direct Access through June 30, 1998 $0.0631 <br />July 1, 1998 and thereafter <br />REVISIONS <br />To Be Announced <br />This schedule is subject to revision by the City Council. Reasons for such a change include, but <br />are not limited to, any of the following: Refinancing or restructuring of fixed costs, divestiture of <br />facilities, changes in energy usage within the system, significant changes in energy market prices, <br />or renegotiation of contracts. The City shall provide 6 months advance notice of any increase in <br />the Competition Transition Charge. <br />
