R-07-22 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br />APPROVING THE ACCEPTANCE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA GRANT <br />TO IMPROVE THE HUTTON CENTER PATIO AND AMEND THE FY 2021-2022 <br />BUDGET. <br />WHEREAS, the State Department of Aging has been delegated the responsibility by <br />the Legislature of the State of California for the administration of a grant to the City of Colton, <br />setting up necessary procedures governing the application; and <br />WHEREAS, the applicant will enter into a contract with the State of California to <br />complete project(s), currently funded at $200,000 for the Hutton Center Patio Improvement. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council hereby: <br />Section 1 <br />1. Approves the filing of project application(s) for specified grant project(s); and <br />2. Certifies that said applicant has or will have available, prior to commencement of project <br />work utilizing specified grant funds, has sufficient funds, including those provided by <br />this grant, to complete the project; and <br />3. Certifies that the applicant has or will provide sufficient funds to operate and maintain <br />the project(s), and <br />4. Delegates the authority to the City Manager, or designee to conduct all negotiations, sign <br />and submit all documents, which may be necessary for the completion of the grant <br />scope(s); and <br />5. Agrees to comply with all applicable federal, state and local laws, ordinances, rules, <br />regulations and guidelines. <br />Section 2: To amend the FY2021-22 budget to increase revenue and appropriations in the <br />Miscellaneous Grants Fund in amounts and accounts listed below: <br />REVENUE <br />225-5850-0220 $200,000 <br />EXPENDITURE <br />225-6200-6233-3890-0000-022 Capital <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this lst day of F <br />ATT <br />CAROLINA R.
