I RESOLUTION NO. R-06-98 <br />2 <br />3 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br />AMENDING THE ADOPTED BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL YEAR OF 1997-98. <br />4 <br />5 WHEREAS, the Police Department of the City of Colton has received funds <br />6 from evidence seized through investigations that have been awarded to the City after <br />7 adjudicated court cases. <br />8 WHEREAS, the Police Department has received $20,433.31 by court order to <br />9 be placed in the General Fund. <br />10 WHEREAS, the existing fiscal budget of 1997/98 does not allow for repairs to <br />11 the deteriorating condition of the carpeting, chairs and inoperable air conditioning unit. <br />12 WHEREAS, these funds will be directed toward the repairs and replacement of <br />13 those items, enhancing the operations of the Police Department for both the employees <br />14 and the public it serves. <br />15 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City <br />16 of Colton amends the adopted budget for fiscal year 1997/98 in the following manner: <br />1. Revenue (Increase) $20,433.31 <br />17 Account 9100-6773 <br />18 2. Building and Ground Maintenance (Increase) 16,433.00 <br />Account #100-6070-6080-2250 <br />19 3.
