R-21-98 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF COLTON APPROVING THAT CERTAIN <br />MASTER INDENTURE AND THE ISSUANCE OF CERTAIN TAX <br />ALLOCATION REVENUE BONDS SERIES 1998 A (REDEVELOPMENT <br />AGENCY FOR THE CITY OF COLTON REDEVELOPMENT PROJECTS) <br />AND TAX ALLOCATION BONDS SERIES 1998 B (REDEVELOPMENT <br />AGENCY FOR THE CITY OF COLTON REDEVELOPMENT PROJECTS) <br />BY THE COLTON PUBLIC FINANCING AUTHORITY AND <br />AUTHORIZING CERTAIN LOAN AGREEMENTS AND CERTAIN <br />DOCUMENTS RELATED THERETO <br />WHEREAS, the City of Colton (the "City") and the <br />Redevelopment Agency for the City of Colton (the "Agency") have <br />heretofore entered into a Joint Exercise of Powers Agreement <br />establishing the Colton Public Financing Authority (the <br />"Authority") for the purpose, among other things, of issuing <br />bonds to be used to make loans to finance certain activities of <br />the City and the Agency; and <br />WHEREAS, the Agency has requested that the Authority assist <br />the Agency with the financing of certain redevelopment projects; <br />And <br />WHEREAS, the Authority has agreed to assist the Agency andl <br />desires now to execute a Master Indenture of Trust dated as ofl <br />March 1, 1998 between the Authority and First Trust National <br />Association (the "Master Indenture") authorizing the issuance <br />from time to time of the Authority's Tax Allocation Revenue Bonds <br />(Redevelopment Agency for the City of Colton Redevelopment <br />Projects); and <br />WHEREAS, the Authority previously issued its Colton Public <br />Financing Authority Revenue (Tax Allocation) Bonds, 1989 Series A <br />(Capital Improvement Loans) and 1989 Series B (Refunding Loans) <br />(the "1989 Bonds") for the purpose of raising funds to make a <br />- 1 - <br />
