R-46-98 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON CALIFORNIA, <br />FOR PRELIMINARY APPROVAL OF THE ANNUAL ENGINEER'S REPORT FOR <br />THE CITYWIDE LANDSCAPE AND LIGHTING MAINTENANCE DISTRICT <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Colton, pursuant to the provisions of <br />"Landscaping and Lighting Act of 1972" being Division 15, Part 2 of the Streets and Highways Code <br />of the State of California, (the "Act"), did, by previous Resolution, order the preparation of an Annual <br />Engineer's Report ( "Report") for the district known and designated as the CITYWIDE <br />LANDSCAPE AND LIGHTING MAINTENANCE DISTRICT (DISTRICT), and, <br />WHEREAS, there has now been presented to this legislative body the Report as required by <br />said Act, and, <br />WHEREAS, this legislative body has carefully examined and reviewed the Report as <br />presented, and is preliminarily satisfied with the District, each and all of the budget items and <br />documents as set forth therein, and is satisfied that the levy amounts, on a preliminary basis, have been <br />spread in accordance with the benefits received from the improvements, operation, maintenance and <br />services to be performed within each benefit zone, as set forth in said Report. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, AND ORDERED BY THE CITY OF COLTON, <br />CALIFORNIA, AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. That the above recitals are all true and correct. <br />Section 2. That the Report as presented, consisting of the following: <br />a. Services, Operations and Maintenance Work Items <br />b. Budget: Balance for the Costs and Expenses of Services, Operations and Maintenance <br />C. Description of the District and Services <br />d. The following locations are being added to zone #4 Old Colton: <br />- The Grade Separation on Olive Street - Landscape Maintenance <br />- The Grade Separation on "C" Street - Landscape Maintenance <br />is hereby approved on a preliminary basis, and ordered to be filed in the Office of the City Clerk as a <br />permanent record and to remain open to public inspection. <br />Section 3. That the City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this Resolution, and the <br />minutes of this meeting shall so reflect the presentation of the Annual Engineer's Report. <br />PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED this 2nd day of June 1998. <br />Carolina P.
