R-85-98 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />COLTON ASSESSING PROPERTIES WITHIN THE CITY BOUNDARIES <br />IN THE AMOUNT OF $117,600 FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1998-99. <br />WHEREAS, the people of the City of Colton voted in <br />1970 to incur a bond indebtedness of $1,200,000 for the purchase of <br />certain improvements of the Electric Utility; and <br />WHEREAS, the City has issued and sold General <br />Obligation Bonds in the amount of $1,200,000; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Colton requires the total sum of <br />$117,600 for the principal and interest due during 1998-99. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City of <br />Colton is hereby authorized to assess all assessable parcels within the <br />boundaries of the City of Colton the total amount of $117,600 for the <br />1998-99 Fiscal Year; to require the County of San Bernardino <br />Auditor/Controller to compute the tax rate and to collect said sum through <br />the County of San Bernardino Tax Collector. <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED THIS 18th day <br />of August, 1998. <br />ATTEST: <br />arolina Barrera, Cleek <br />K rl E.
