R-86-98 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF COLTON, CALIFORNIA ORDERING THE <br />ABONDNMENT OF PORTION OF INTERSECTION OF 6" <br />AND "K" STREET. <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Colton <br />follows: <br />Section 1. The City Council of the City of Colton having <br />elected to proceed under the provisions of Section 8300 et <br />seq. of the Streets and Highway Code of the State of <br />California, and having held a public hearing has provided <br />therein, hereby finds from all the evidence submitted that all <br />that portion of the intersection of 6th Street and "K" Street. <br />The map of the Town of Colton, recorded in book 9 page 37 of <br />maps in the Office of said County, records of San Bernardino <br />County, California described as follows: <br />The intersection of said 6th Street and "K" Street is <br />unnecessary for present or prospective public street purposes <br />and the public interest and convenience requires the closing <br />of that portion of said street, with the City reserving an <br />easement for all utility purposes as more particularly <br />I described in the vacation deed. <br />Section <br />2. Accordingly, the City <br />Council of the City <br />of <br />Colton hereby <br />orders the vacation of <br />the intersection of <br />6th <br />Street and "K" Street. <br />I <br />
