R-10-99 RESOLUTION OF CONSIDERATION TO ALTER RATE AND METHOD OF APPORTIONMENT OF SPECIAL TAXES CITY OF COLTON COMMUNITY FACILITIES DISTRICT NO. 90-1 (MOUNT VERNON CORRIDOR) Notice is hereby given that on January 19, 1999, the City Council (the "Council") of the City of Colton (the "City") adopted its Resolution of Consideration To Alter Rate and Method Apportionment of Special Taxes (the "Resolution of ConsideratioW') with respect to its 13 1. 14 adopted 15 particula 16 , - 17 18 19 20 21 25 26 27 28 Facilities District No. 90-1 (Mount Vernon Corridor) (the "CFD") under the Community Facilities Act of 1982, as amended (the "Act"). Under the Act and the of Consideration, the Council gives notice as follows: The text of the Resolution of Consideration, with the Exhibit A thereto, as by the Council, is on file with City Clerk and reference is made thereto for the provisions thereof. The text of the Resolution of Consideration is summarized as a. As permitted by the Act, the Council has undertaken proceedings and has established the CFD, which is known as "City of Colton, Community Facilities District No. 90-1 (Mount Vernon Corridor)," the boundaries of which are shown on the map thereof filed in Book 161 of Maps of Assessment and Community Facilities Districts at Pages 21 and 22, in the office of the County Recorder, County of San Bernardino, State of California. b. The Council has proposed to consider the alteration of the Rate and Method of Apportionment of Special Tax (the "Rate and Method") among the parcels of real property within the CFD, to read as more fully described in the Resolution of Consideration and Exhibit A thereto. C. The Council has detern-dned that such proposed alteration will not interfere with the timely retirement of any debt incurred with respect to the CFD. d. As set forth below, the Council will hold a public hearing on said alteration of the Rate and Method.
