1 <br />2 <br />3 <br />4 <br />5 <br />6 <br />7 <br />8 <br />9 <br />certain public improvement projects for the benefit of the Santa Ana River Redevelopment <br />Project; and <br />WHEREAS, the installation and construction of the public improvement projects as more <br />fully described in this Resolution shall implement the Redevelopment Plan for the Santa Ana River <br />Redevelopment Project and assist with the elimination of blighting conditions which affect the <br />redevelopment project area; and <br />WHEREAS, the Agency with the consent of the City may draw available funds from the <br />Ana River Bond Account to pay for the installation and construction of the public <br />10 improvement projects as described in this Resolution. <br />11 NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON DOES <br />12 HEREBY RESOLVE, AS FOLLOWS: <br />13 Section 1. The facts set forth in the recitals of this Resolution are true and correct. <br />14 This Resolution is hereby adopted in order to evidence the consent of the City Council for the <br />15 Agency to pay for all or part of the value of the land and public right-of-way and the cost of the <br />16 installation and construction of any of the public improvement projects identified in Section 2 of <br />17 this Resolution. This Resolution is further adopted to comply with the provisions of Health and <br />18 Safety Code Section 33445 and the Agency shall repay the Authority for the loan of funds drawn <br />19 from the Santa Ana River Bond Account from certain tax increment revenues of the Santa Ana <br />2U River Redevelopment Project as more particularly described in Section 3.01 of the 1998 Santa Ana <br />21 River Loan Agreement. <br />22 Section 2. The citizen advisory committee has recommended to the Agency as of <br />23 December 7, 1999 that the following public improvement projects which are situated inside or of <br />24 benefit to the Santa Ana River Redevelopment Project be installed and constructed at the earliest <br />25 feasible time: <br />26 Description of Public Improvement Projects Presently Estimated Cost <br />27 (1) Hunts Lane street lighting improvement project $17,WO <br />28 COLT/0001/DOC/296 <br />11/18/99 1:15 j� - 2 - <br />
