R-31-00 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF COLTON AFFORDING COMPENSATION TO <br />THE CITY CLERK AND RESCINDING RESOLUTION <br />NO. R-60-97 <br />WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 1572 fixes the salary for the <br />position of City Clerk at $370 per month, and authorizes the <br />City Council to provide, By Resolution supplemental <br />compensation. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1: Supplemental compensation for City Clerk <br />Carolina Barrera, shall be fixed at the sum of $3,900 per <br />month, in addition to the sum of $370 per month provided by <br />Ordinance No. 1572, for a total compensation of $4.270 per <br />month effective July 1, 1999. <br />SECTION 2: Supplemental compensation is specifically <br />authorized for the performance of City Clerk, Carolina <br />Barrera. <br />SECTION 3: Supplemental compensation shall not be <br />provided to subsequent City Clerks, unless so authorized by <br />the City Council. <br />SECTION 4: In addition to salary, the City Clerk shall <br />be provided the benefit package provided to staff members of <br />the Executive Unit. <br />PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 18th day of April, <br />2000. <br />DEIRDRE H.
