R -39 -00 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br />DECLARING AN EMERGENCY AND DELEGATING AUTHORITY TO THE <br />UTILITY DIRECTOR TO ORDER ACTIONSREQUIRED TO INSTALL A SEWER <br />MAIN IN NORMAN ROAD <br />WHEREAS, Section 22050 of the State Public Contract Code governs emergency I <br />contracting procedures applicable to the City of Colton. <br />WHEREAS, the Colton City Council finds emergency conditions existed on Norman I <br />Road to insure the health and safety of the public. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council resolves as follows: <br />1. Thomas K. Clarke, Utility Director, is delegated the authority to order <br />materials and labor to install a sewer main on Norman Road, authorized <br />by Section 22050 of the Public Contract Code to respond to the <br />emergency. <br />PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 16th day of May, 2000. <br />A AAO) <br />DEIRDRE H.
