R- 41-00 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br />DECLARING AN EMERGENCY AND DELEGATING AUTHORITY TO THE <br />UTILITY DIRECTOR TO ORDER ACTIONS REQUIRED TO REPAIR THE <br />SEWER MAIN ON CITRUS AVENUE <br />WHEREAS, Section 22050 of the State Public Contract Code governs emergency <br />contracting procedures applicable to the City of Colton. <br />WHEREAS, the Colton City Council finds emergency conditions existed on Citrus I <br />Avenue to insure the health and safety of the public. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council resolves as follows: <br />1. Thomas K. Clarke, Utility Director, is delegated the authority to order <br />materials and labor to install a sewer main on Citrus Avenue, authorized <br />by Section 22050 of the Public Contract Code to respond to the <br />emergency. <br />PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 16th day of May, 2000. <br />i - <br />City Clerk <br />J LOU— <br />DEIRDRE H.
