None disclosed. <br /> <br />*************************************************************************** <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> <br />(1) Redistricting Workshop #1 <br /> <br />TIME AND PLACE FIXED TO CONSIDER A PUBLIC HEARING TO DISCUSS THE CITY’S <br />REDISTRICTING WORKSHOP #1. <br /> <br />Mayor Navarro declared the Public Hearing open. <br /> <br />City Clerk Padilla submitted the Notice of the Public Hearing (on file in the City Clerk’s Office) and there were <br />no reports of protests or objections thereto. <br /> <br />Staff Presentation <br />Attorney William Priest, BB&K, presented a report from staff and City’s redistricting consultant on the <br />redistricting process and permissible criteria to be considered to redraw district boundaries; and conduct a <br />public hearing to receive public input on district boundaries. <br /> <br />Public Comment <br />None <br /> <br />Motion and Second by CM González/MPT Cisneros to close the public hearing. <br />Vote: Motion carried with CM Koperski absent. <br /> <br />Council Discussion <br />Discernment and discussion between Mayor and Councilmembers present, with clarification provided by staff: <br />Attorney Priest. <br /> <br />With no objection by Mayor and Councilmember’s present, report received and filed. <br /> <br />*************************************************************************** <br />Public Comment <br />The following community members addressed the Council: John Baca; and Adrianne Rogers <br /> <br />*************************************************************************** <br /> <br />CONSENT CALENDAR
