2 <br />3 <br />4 <br />5 <br />h <br />N <br />9 <br />11 <br />12 <br />13 <br />14 <br />1 <br />M1 <br />23 <br />24 <br />25 <br />26 <br />RESOLUTION NO.R-08-01 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF COLTON AUTHORIZING THE FILING OF A <br />GRANT APPLICATION FOR SURFACE <br />TRANSPORTATION PROGRAM FUNDS TO <br />CONSTRUCT THE MAIN STREET AT IOWA AVENUE <br />INTERSECTION IMPROVEMENT PROJECT. <br />WHEREAS, the City of Colton is desirous of implementing a project with funds for <br />of the Main Street at Iowa Avenue Intersection Improvement Project located in the <br />of Colton and County of Riverside; and <br />WHEREAS, procedures and criteria established by the San Bernardino Associated <br />require a Resolution certifying the approval of applications by the Colton City <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the application contains assurances with which the City of Colton as a <br />applicant must comply; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Colton, if approved, will enter into an agreement with the San <br />Bernardino Associated Governments to carry out the Main Street at Iowa Avenue Intersection <br />Improvement Project. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Colton <br />as follows: <br />(1) The City of Colton hereby authorizes the City of Colton City Manager, or his designee, <br />to apply for funds; and, if recommended for funding, conduct all negotiations, execute <br />and submit all documents including, but not limited to, the application, agreements, <br />amendments, payment requests, and all other necessary documents to implement and <br />carry out the purposes of this resolution and completion of the project. <br />1 <br />
