R-34-22 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON, AUTHORIZING <br />THE CITY MANAGER OR HIS DESIGNEE TO EXECUTE THE ADMINISTERING <br />AGENCY -STATE AGREEMENT NO. 08-5065S21 AND THE PROGRAM SUPPLEMENT <br />AGREEMENT NO. 00000OZ43 WITH CALTRANS FOR THE GUARDRAIL <br />REPLACEMENT PROJECT - HSIPSL-5065(032) <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Colton desires to improve the safety of the <br />bridges within City jurisdiction; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Colton has received a Highway Safety Improvement Program <br />(HSIP) Funding for the Guardrail Replacement Project - HSIPSL-5065(032); and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Colton has received authorization from Caltrans to proceed with <br />the Preliminary Engineering for the Guardrail Replacement Project - HSIPSL-5065(032); and <br />WHEREAS, the State requires that the Administering Agency -State Agreement No. 08- <br />5065S21 and Program Supplement Agreement No. 00000OZ43 be fully executed by the City and <br />the State before any invoices for reimbursement can be processed; and <br />WHEREAS, the State requires that the City adopt and attach a resolution identifying the <br />Project and the official authorized to execute the Administering Agency -State Agreement No. 08- <br />5065S21 and Program Supplement Agreement No. 00000OZ43; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved that the City Council of the City of Colton does <br />hereby authorize the City Manager or his designee to execute Administering Agency -State <br />Agreement No. 08-5065S21 and Program Supplement Agreement No. 00000OZ43 for the <br />Guardrail Replacement Project - HSIPSL-5065(032). <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED THIS 5h DAY OF APRIL 022. <br />ATTEST: <br />Carolina R.
