R-116-01 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF COLTON AUTHORIZING THE <br />EXECUTION OF THE PROGRAM SUPPLEMENTAL <br />AGREEMENT WITH THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA, <br />DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION. <br />WHEREAS, the City of Colton is a municipal corporation duly organized <br />and existing pursuant to the Constitution and laws of the State of California <br />("City"); <br />WHEREAS, the City of Colton desires to obtain additional grant funds for <br />congestion mitigation and transportation -related projects; and <br />WHEREAS, on October 6, 1981, the State of California, Department of <br />Transportation ("CalTrans") entered into a Local Agency -State Agreement for <br />Federal Aid ("Agreement"); and <br />WHEREAS, on October 1, 2001, CalTrans forwarded a Program <br />Supplemental modifying the existing Agency -State Agreement; and <br />WHEREAS, the Agreement requires the City clearly identify the specific <br />project outlined within the Program Supplement and identify an official authorized <br />the execute this Agreement; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, WE, THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF <br />I COLTON DO HEREBY RESOLVE the following: <br />1. Identifies the specific project as the Park and Ride Facility incorporated <br />on the 24-hour Public Access Alternative Fueling Stations Site at the <br />Sperry Drive exit off Interstate 10 or more specifically described at <br />north of Interstate 10, east of Sperry Drive and south of Fairway Drive. <br />2. Agrees to fund from available resources the dollars necessary to meet <br />the local matching requirement. <br />3. Authorizes the City Manager to execute all the documents necessary <br />including the Program Supplement in order to implement this project. <br />
