R-29-22 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />COLTON AUTHORIZING A CONTRACT AMENDMENT WITH <br />FIRE APPARATUS SOLUTIONS TO PERFORM VEHICLE <br />MAINTENANCE SERVICES AND TO AMEND THE FY2021-22 <br />ADOPTED BUDGET TO APPROPRIATE $15,000 FROM <br />GENERAL FUND RESERVE BALANCE TO THE FIRE <br />DEPARTMENT VEHICLE MAINTENANCE ACCOUNT <br />WHEREAS, the Budget for Fiscal Year commencing July 1, 2021 and ending June 30, <br />2022 was approved and adopted by Resolution; and <br />WHEREAS, the approved budget is in accordance with all applicable ordinances of the <br />City and applicable statues of the State; and <br />WHEREAS, the re -allocation of appropriations between department activities may be <br />made by the City Manager. Amendments (increases/decreases) to the budget shall be by approval <br />and Resolution of the City Council; and <br />WHEREAS, the City contracts with Fire Apparatus Solutions for maintenance of fire <br />engines; and <br />WHEREAS, the Fire Apparatus Solutions contract is for a maximum of $125,000 per <br />year. The Fire Department anticipates necessary vehicle repairs will exceed $125,000 this year <br />due to increased repairs and costs; and <br />WHEREAS, the Fire Department needs an additional $15,000 appropriation in order to <br />continue maintenance services through June 30, 2022. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON DOES <br />HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1.
