R-35-22 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON AMENDING <br />THE FISCAL YEAR 2021/2022 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT BUDGET. <br />WHEREAS, the City intends to support the City's goal to improve the City's traffic <br />safety and infrastructure; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Colton received Highway Safety Improvement Program (HSIP) <br />funding through Caltrans in the amount of $1 10,200 for HSIP funded — Guardrail Replacement <br />Project - HSIPSL-5065-032; and <br />WHEREAS, HSIP funding will provide for 100% project expenditures and local match is <br />not needed for the Project; and <br />WHEREAS, a budget appropriation not listed in the Fiscal Year 2021/2022 budget is <br />required and must be approved by resolution of the City Council. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF COLTON DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1 The Recitals preceding in this Resolution are true and correct and are <br />incorporated into this Resolution by reference. <br />Section 2 The City Council authorizes the following amendment for the Fiscal Year <br />2021/2022 budget: <br />• Increase revenues by $110,200 in Miscellaneous Grants Fund account number <br />225-5886-002;and <br />
