R-21-01 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />COLTON APPROVING A GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT <br />TO AMEND THE LAND USE DESIGNATION OF CERTAIN <br />PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF COLTON <br />WHEREAS, Richard Horn filed an application on December 18, 2001, <br />Index No. DZGCV-111-00, for an amendment to the general plan of the City of Colton ("Gene <br />Plan") to change the land use designation of property from "Single Family Residential' a <br />"General Commercial" to "Industrial Park" ("Application'), affecting approximately three po <br />five eight (3.58) acres of land located Easterly terminus of Harbor Drive, along easterly side <br />Illinois Avenue (Assessor Parcel No. 164-131-36, 44, 46, and 96) ("Subject Site") in the City <br />Colton, County of San Bernardino; <br />WHEREAS, the Application was referred to all affected public agencies pursuant <br />to section 65352 of the Government Code; <br />WHEREAS, the Application was reviewed, studied, and found to comply with the <br />California Environmental Quality Act ("CEQA") as more fully described below; <br />WHEREAS, on February 27, 2001, the Planning Commission of the City of <br />Colton ("Commission') conducted a duly noticed public hearing on the Application at which <br />time all persons wishing to testify in connection with the Application were heard and the <br />Application was fully studied; <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission adopted a Resolution recommending <br />approval of this Amendment to the General Plan of the City of Colton; <br />WHEREAS, on March 20, 2001, the City Council of the City of Colton ("City <br />Council') conducted a duly noticed public hearing on the Application at which time all persons <br />wishing to testify in connection with the Application were heard and the Application was fully <br />studied; and <br />WHEREAS, all other legal prerequisites to the adoption of this Resolution have <br />1 <br />
