The City Council of the City of Colton having elected to proceed under the
provisions of Section 8300 et sea, of the Streets and Highway Code of the State of California, and
having held a Public Hearing as provided therein, hereby finds from all the evidence submitted that all
that portion of "G" Street, as shown by legal description (See Exhibit "A"), is unnecessary for present
or prospective public street use for the following reasons:
A. The City Council hereby reserves and excepts from these vacation
proceedings all easements as may be necessary for all existing or future public utilities, and their
successors in interest, to construct, maintain, operate replace, enlarge, remove and renew all public
utility facilities and appurtenant structures in, upon, over, beneath, under, below, above, and across
that portion of "G Street that is hereby vacated in compliance with all applicable local and state laws
and regulations and as may be necessary to construct, maintain, operate, replace, enlarge, remove
and renew lines of pipe, conduits, cables, wires, gas, mains, underground conduits, poles, anchors,
and other convenient structures, equipment, and fixtures for the operation of gas pipelines and for the
transportation and distribution of electrical energy and gas, and incidental purposes, and
appurtenances and appurtenant work in, upon, over, above, across, under, below and beneath that
portion of "G' Street that is hereby vacated.
1
