R-72-01 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />COLTON, CALIFORNIA AMENDING THE BUDGET FOR <br />FISCAL YEARS COMMENCING JULY 19 2001 AND ENDING JUNE 309 2003 <br />WHEREAS: The Budget for the City of Colton for the Fiscal Years commencing <br />July 1, 2001 and ending June 30, 2003 was approved and adopted on June 15, 2001; and <br />VWI-IEREAS: The approved budget is in accordance with all applicable ordinances of <br />the City and all applicable statutes of the State; and <br />WTiEREAS : The Reallocation of appropriations between departmental activities <br />may be made by the City Manager, Amendments (increases/decreases) to the Budget shall be <br />by approval and Resolution of the City Council. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON DOES <br />HEREBYRESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1. It has been necessary to make an amendment to the 2001/2002 Fiscal <br />Year Budget, adjusting the Salary and Benefits accounts in various funds. These changes are <br />needed to cover the cost of salary and benefit increases negotiated by the various bargaining <br />units, namely SBPEA General Unit, Management Confidential Unit and the Executive Unit as <br />well as to account for the savings due to the City-wide re -organization. The total cost to <br />implement the above-mentioned changes for the City, in fiscal year beginning July 1, 2001 is <br />$16,471 and $341,430 for fiscal year beginning July 1, 2002. <br />SECTION 2.
