R-80-01 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF COLTON ESTABLISHING FEES <br />PERTAINING TO PERMIT APPLICATIONS FOR <br />VARIOUS ACTIVITIES <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Colton is <br />empowered to impose reasonable fees, charges and rates for <br />municipal services, pursuant to Article XI, Section 7 of the <br />California Constitution; and <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention of the City Council that <br />the fees herein shall cover, but not exceed, the estimated <br />reasonable cost of providing the service for which the fee is <br />charged; and <br />WHEREAS, based upon evidence provided, the City <br />Council hereby determines that the fees established herein <br />reasonably cover, but do not exceed, the reasonable cost of <br />providing the service for which the fee is charged. <br />BE IT NOW THEREFORE RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1.Fees. The following fees and charges are <br />hereby established to recover the City's cost of providing <br />municipal services to the public as follows: <br />Police Permits Issued <br />A. Application Fees for pawnbroker/junk dealer <br />permits (Colton Mun. Code § 5.20.20), massage permits <br />(Colton Mun. Code § 5.24.030) and dance permits <br />(Colton Mun.
