R-48-22 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON� AMENDING <br />THE FY2021-22 BUDGET TO FUND THE ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES FOR THE <br />1400-1500 W. AGUA MANSA ROAD — AGUA MANSA LOGISTICS CENTER <br />PROJECT COST -RECOVERY PLANNING APPLICATIONS <br />WHEREAS, MIG, Inc., on behalf of IDI Logistics, has submitted applications for a <br />Architectural and Site Plan Review to allow construction of two industrial buildings. Originally the <br />proposed project was designed for a total building area of 457,743 square feet with 69,440 square feet <br />in mezzanines, providing a 388,303 square feet ground floor footprint. The revised design increased the <br />total building area to 474,021 square feet and the mezzanines increased to 77,564 square feet, for a <br />footprint area of 396,457 square feet. This results in a total footprint delta of 8,154 square feet and a <br />total building area delta of 16,278 square feet. Half of the increase (8,124 square feet) is in automated <br />mezzanine; the remaining area is the refrigeration room area, as well as an increased loading dock <br />footprint. Furthermore, it should be noted that the height of Building 1 has increased to 130 feet from <br />90 feet. The footprint of the 130' tall freezer storage area will decrease by 14,065 square feet. The <br />single- story low roof refrigeration/electrical room will increase the total building footprint by 6,813 <br />square feet. The single -story automated refrigerated loading dock with mezzanine will also increase the <br />footprint by 12,560 square feet. The single -story refrigerated support area and office area with <br />mezzanines will increase the footprint by 2,846 square feet. As previously mentioned, the total delta in <br />building footprint area is 8,154 square feet. The project site is located on 11 to be subdiIIvided into two <br />lots totaling 59 acres in area on property zoned M-2 (Heavy Industrial) also located within the Agua <br />Mansa Historic District (DAP-00 1 -66 8); and <br />WHEREAS, On February 3, 2022, Extra Work for the project was approved administratively <br />for an amount of $9,670.00 for FCS to reach out and meet with outside agencies.. <br />WHEREAS, the applicants have agreed to fund in original contract with First Carbon Solutions, <br />Inc. for environmental services, with 15% administrative charge, for $328,848.25 pursuant to a <br />Reimbursement Agreement between the applicants and the City; and <br />1 <br />
