R-46-22 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR 2021/2022 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT BUDGET. WHEREAS, the City intends to support the City's goal to improve the City's traffic safety and infrastructure; and WHEREAS, the City of Colton needs to allocate additional funding in the amount of $64,750 for the preparation of Visual Impact and Noise Study for the completion of environmental documents for the Reche Canyon Road Realignment to Hunts Lane Project; and WHEREAS, the funding will be provided thru Regional Traffic Impact Fee in the amount of $28,231 (43.6%) and Arterial Measure I in the amount of $36,519 (56.4%); and WHEREAS, a budget appropriation not listed in the Fiscal Year 21/22 budget is required and must be approved by resolution of the City Council. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: Section 1 The Recitals preceding in this Resolution are true and correct and are incorporated into this Resolution by reference. Section 2 The City Council authorizes the following amendment for the FY 21/22 budget: • Increase appropriations in Traffic Impact Fee Fund Account Number 249-1000- 1000-5993-0004-450 by $28,231; and • Increase revenue in Capital Projects Fund Account Number 450-5993-249 by $28,231; and • Appropriate $28,231 in account number Capital Projects Fund Capital Improvement Account Number 450-1701-6900-3890-0000-000 for Visual Impact and Noise Study needed for the Reche Canyon Road Realignment to o Hunts Lane Project; and • Increase appropriations in Measure I Fund Account Number 218-1000-1000- 5993-0004-450 by $36,519; and
