R-64-22 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />COLTON, CALIFORNIA, CALLING AND GIVING NOTICE OF <br />A GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION TO BE HELD IN THE <br />CITY ON TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 8, 2022, FOR THE <br />ELECTION OF CERTAIN MUNICIPAL OFFICERS AND <br />REQUESTING THAT THE COUNTY OF SAN BERNARDINO <br />RENDER SPECIFIED SERVICES AS REQUIRED BY THE <br />PROVISIONS OF THE LAWS OF THE STATE OF <br />CALIFORNIA RELATING TO GENERAL LAW CITIES. <br />WHEREAS, under the provisions of the laws relating to General Law cities in the <br />State of California, a General Municipal Election shall be held on Tuesday, November 8, 2022, <br />for the election of certain Municipal Officers; and, <br />WHEREAS, in the course of conduct of the election it is necessary for the City to <br />request services of the County of San Bernardino; and, <br />WHEREAS, all necessary expense in performing this service shall be paid by the City <br />of Colton. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON, <br />CALIFORNIA, DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1. That pursuant to the requirements of the laws of the State of California <br />relating to General Law cities within the State, there is called and ordered held in the City of <br />Colton, California, on Tuesday, November 8, 2022, a General Municipal Election of the <br />qualified electors of the City, to be consolidated with the General Election, for the purpose of <br />voting on and/or electing the following: <br />A. District 1 Councilmember for full term of two years <br />B. District 2 Councilmember for full term of two years <br />C. District 3 Councilmember for full term of four years <br />
