2022 MAY 03 CC/CUA/CPFA/CHA MEETING 3 - <br />*************************************************************************** <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> <br />(1) Extension of Term for Urgency Ordinance <br /> <br />TIME AND PLACE FIXED TO CONSIDER A PUBLIC HEARING TO INTRODUCE BY TITLE <br />ONLY ORDINANCE NO. O-07-22, AN EXTENSION OF TERM FOR URGENCY ORDINANCE: <br />MORATORIUM ON THE ESTABLISHMENT, EXPANSION, OR MODIFICATION OF <br />WAREHOUSES, DISTRIBUTION CENTERS, TRUCK AND TRAILER FACILITIES AND <br />RELATED USERS, ORDINANCE NO. O-07-22. <br /> <br />Mayor Navarro declared the Public Hearing open. <br /> <br />City Clerk Padilla submitted the Notice of the Public Hearing (on file in the City Clerk’s Office) and there were <br />no reports of protests or objections thereto. <br /> <br />Staff Presentation <br />City Attorney Campos presented for Council an overview of the agenda item and requested approval of staff’s <br />recommendation. <br /> <br />Public Comment <br />The following community members addressed the Council: Darby Osnaya; Audrey Ibarra; Gabriela Ulloa; <br />Jessie Parks; Janet Bernabe; Gem Montes; Bill Blankenship; Lemos; Amy Vasquez; Emily Vasquez; Angie <br />Balderas; Delores Evans; Celeste Carlos; Deb Hanna and Lina Hernandez <br /> <br />Motion and Second by CM Suchil/CM González to close the public hearing. <br />Vote: Unanimous <br /> <br />Motion and Second by CM Suchil/CM Echevarria to waive full reading, read by title only and adopt Urgency <br />Ordinance No. O-07-22. <br />Vote: Unanimous <br /> <br />(2) Continued Public Hearing: Subdivision Ordinance Update and SB 9 <br /> <br />TIME AND PLACE FIXED TO CONSIDER A PUBLIC HEARING TO INTRODUCE BY TITLE <br />ONLY ORDINANCE NO. O-01-22, AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />COLTON, CALIFORNIA, TO AMEND, REPEAL AND REPLACE TITLE 16 SUBDIVISION <br />ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF COLTON MUNICIPAL CODE INCLUDING URBAN LOT <br />SPLITS AND TWO-UNIT PROJECTS TO IMPLEMENT LAWS ENACTED BY SB 9 AND <br />DETERMINING THE ORDINANCE TO BE EXEMPT FROM CEQA.
