R-131-02 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON ORDERING THE VACATION OF A PORTION OF AN ALLEYWAY SOUTH OF VALLEY AND EAST OF LA CADENA DRIVE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Colton having elected to proceed under the provisions of Section 8300 et. Seq. of the Streets and Highway Code of the State of California, and having held a public hearing as provided therein, hereby finds from all 'the evidence submitted that all that portion of an alleyway south of Valley and east of La Cadena described as follows: Being a portion of Block 199, of the map of the Town of Colton Subdivision as recorded in Map Book 9, page 37. Records of San Bernardino County, State of California more particularly described as follows: The westerly 250 feet of that certain alleyway (20.00 feet wide) of Block 199, of the map of the Town of Colton Subdivision as recorded in Map Book 9, page 37. Records of said County and State. Is unnecessary for present or prospective public street purposes and the public interest and convenience requires the closing of said streets, with the City reserving all existing utility easements including, but not limited to the following: water, sewer and electric. SECTION 2. Accordingly the City Council of the City Colton hereby orders the vacation of the alleyway south of Valley and east of La Cadena Drive.
