I RESOLUTION NO. R-14-02 <br />2 <br />3 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCILOF THE CITY OF COLTON, CALIFORNIA <br />AMENDING THE BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEARS COMMENCING JULY 1, 2001 <br />4 AND ENDING JUNE 30, 2003 <br />5 WHEREAS: The Budget for the City of Colton for the Fiscal Years <br />6 commencing July 1, 2001 and ending June 30, 2003 was approved and adopted on <br />7 June 15, 2001; and <br />8 <br />9 WHEREAS: The approved budget is in accordance with all applicable <br />10 ordinances of the City and all applicable statutes of the State; and <br />11 <br />12 WHEREAS: The Reallocation of appropriations between departmental <br />13 activities may be made by the City Manager, Amendments (increases/decreases) to <br />14the Budget shall be by approval and Resolution of the City Council. <br />15 <br />16 NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br />17 DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br />18 SECTION 1. It has been necessary to make an amendment to the 2001/2002 <br />19 Fiscal Year Budget, adjusting the Professional Services account in the Public Works <br />Budget. This change covers the cost of contractual surveying services to supplement <br />20 those areas the law does not allow the City Engineer to authorized based on the <br />numerical level of the Civil Engineering License. The estimated cost to implement the <br />21 above-mentioned change for the City, in fiscal year beginning July 1, 2001 is $20,000 <br />22 <br />and $20,000 for fiscal year beginning July 1, 2002, by increasing Account Number <br />249-6900-6910-2350 (Professional Services) and draw from Account Number 249- <br />23 2970 (Unappropriated Fund Balance in Traffic Fee Fund). <br />24 SECTION 2. The amendment is hereby approved, adopted and incorporated <br />herein as Exhibit A. <br />25 PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 15' day of January 2002. <br />26 <br />27 <br />28 DEIRDRE H.
