I RESOLUTION NO. R-14-02 2 3 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCILOF THE CITY OF COLTON, CALIFORNIA AMENDING THE BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEARS COMMENCING JULY 1, 2001 4 AND ENDING JUNE 30, 2003 5 WHEREAS: The Budget for the City of Colton for the Fiscal Years 6 commencing July 1, 2001 and ending June 30, 2003 was approved and adopted on 7 June 15, 2001; and 8 9 WHEREAS: The approved budget is in accordance with all applicable 10 ordinances of the City and all applicable statutes of the State; and 11 12 WHEREAS: The Reallocation of appropriations between departmental 13 activities may be made by the City Manager, Amendments (increases/decreases) to 14the Budget shall be by approval and Resolution of the City Council. 15 16 NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON 17 DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: 18 SECTION 1. It has been necessary to make an amendment to the 2001/2002 19 Fiscal Year Budget, adjusting the Professional Services account in the Public Works Budget. This change covers the cost of contractual surveying services to supplement 20 those areas the law does not allow the City Engineer to authorized based on the numerical level of the Civil Engineering License. The estimated cost to implement the 21 above-mentioned change for the City, in fiscal year beginning July 1, 2001 is $20,000 22 and $20,000 for fiscal year beginning July 1, 2002, by increasing Account Number 249-6900-6910-2350 (Professional Services) and draw from Account Number 249- 23 2970 (Unappropriated Fund Balance in Traffic Fee Fund). 24 SECTION 2. The amendment is hereby approved, adopted and incorporated herein as Exhibit A. 25 PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 15' day of January 2002. 26 27 28 DEIRDRE H.
