I RESOLUTION NO. R-24-02 2 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON, 3 CALIFORNIA AMENDING THE BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR COMMENCING JULY 1, 2001 AND ENDING JUNE 30, 2002 4 5 WHEREAS, the State of California has approved an Instruction Materials Grant in the 6 amount of $2,192 for the Colton Childcare Program, and 7 WHEREAS, the Budget for the City of Colton for the Fiscal Year commencing July 1, 8 2001 and ending June 30, 2002 was approved and adopted on June 15, 2001; and 9 WHEREAS, the approved budget is in accordance with all applicable ordinances of 10 the City and all applicable statutes of the State; and 11 WHEREAS, the Reallocation of appropriations between departmental activities may 12 13 be made by the City Manager, Amendments (increases/decreases) to the Budget shall be by 14 approval and Resolution of the City Council. 15 NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: 16 SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of Colton, San Bernardino County, 17 California authorizes entering into local agreement number GIMS-1502 and that the City Manager is authorized to sign the applicable documents for the entity. Therefore, it will be 18 necessary to make an amendment to the 2001/2002 Year Budget, increasing expenditure Account Number 206-7200-7202-2304 in the amount of $2,192, and increasing Revenue 1g Account No. 206-7205 by the grant amount of $2,192. 20 SECTION 2. The amendment is hereby approved, adopted and incorporated herein. 21 PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED THIS 19th day of February 2002. 22 23 24 DEIRDRE H.
