RR- <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON, <br />PRIORITIZING THE TYPES OF PROJECTS TO BE FUNDED BY <br />COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT FUNDS FOR THE <br />FISCAL YEAR 2002-2003. <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Colton elected to enter into a Cooperation <br />Agreement with the County of San Bernardino in order to receive Community Development <br />Block Grant (CDBG) funds; and, <br />WHEREAS, as a Cooperating City, the City of Colton anticipates receiving $397,000 <br />in Community Development Block Grant funds for Fiscal Year 2002-2003; and, <br />WHEREAS, the City must inform the County as to which eligible projects will be <br />funded with CDBG funds. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Colton <br />prioritizes and allocates CDBG funds for the following projects for Fiscal Year 2002-2003: <br />1. <br />"Adult and Family Literacy Education Program" (#28300) <br />$ <br />24,000 <br />2. <br />"Street & Sidewalk Improvements- Maple St., Maple Ct., Birch St., Birch Ct., <br />4"' St., 5"' St., 'O' St., and 'N' St." (#28307) <br />$248,825 <br />3. <br />"Minor Home Repair Services for Senior Citizens" (#28063) <br />$ <br />101000 <br />4. <br />"Legal Services to Economically Disadvantaged Persons" (#28069) <br />$ <br />3,000 <br />5. <br />"Legal Immigration Assistance Program" (#28065) <br />$ <br />2,500 <br />6. <br />"Shoppin' 4 Seniors Program" (#28105) <br />$ <br />2,000 <br />7. <br />"Emergency Shelter Services to Homeless Families" (#28108) <br />$ <br />2,000 <br />8. "Expand Congregate & Home Bound Delivered Meals by Upgrading <br />Equipment at Senior Nutrition Programs" (#28204) $ 16,050 <br />9. "Gang Intervention Program for High Risk Youth (#28122) $ 4,000 <br />10. "Reche Canyon Elementary School - Child Care Modular Unit" (#10424118) $ 30,000 <br />11. "Child Care Modular Unit - Wilson Elementary School" (#104-26118) $ 30,000 <br />12. Community Child Care Division, "Child Care Assistance Program" $ 7,000 <br />13.
