The City Council hereby approves the Funding and Construction <br />Management Agreement in the form as submitted to the City Council with this Resolution. <br />The City Manager and the City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute the <br />Funding and Construction Management Agreement on behalf of the City, together with such <br />technical and conforming changes to the text of the Funding and Construction Management <br />Agreement as may be recommended by the City Attorney so as to conform the text to the <br />specific public works construction and management responsibilities assumed by the City <br />under said Funding and Construction Management Agreement. <br />Section 2. The City Engineer is hereby authorized and directed to proceed with the <br />completion of the acquisition, design and construction of each of the Mount Vernon Corridor <br />Projects as set forth in the Funding and Construction Management Agreement and to submit <br />final recommendations to the City Council for the award of the appropriate public works <br />contracts by the City to the lowest responsible bidder for each such project at the earliest <br />feasible time. The City Manager and the City Engineer are hereby authorized and directed to <br />administer the responsibilities of the City with respect to each of the Mount Vernon Corridor <br />Projects in accordance with the provisions of the Funding and Construction Management <br />Agreement. <br />Section 3.
