2022 OCTOBER 04 CC/CUA/CPFA/CHA MEETING 2 - <br /> <br />AB 1234 ORAL REPORTS <br />Mayor Navarro asked the members present if there were any brief reports on meetings attended at the expense <br />of the City. (GC Section 53232.3(d). None disclosed. <br /> <br />*************************************************************************** <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> <br />(1) Public Hearing - Street Vacation: Terrace Avenue & De Berry Avenue <br /> <br /> A PUBLIC HEARING TO APPROVE AND ADOPT A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />COLTON, CALIFORNIA, CONDITIONALLY VACATING PORTIONS OF SOUTH TERRACE <br />AVENUE AND DE BEERY STREET, RESOLUTION NO. R-94-22. <br /> <br />Mayor Navarro declared the Public Hearing open. <br /> <br />City Clerk Padilla submitted the Notice Continuance from September 6, 2022 of the Public Hearing (on file in <br />the City Clerk’s Office) and there were no reports of protests or objections thereto. <br /> <br />Staff Presentation <br />Director Dickinson, Public Works & Utility Services, presented for Council an overview of the agenda item and <br />requested approval of staff’s recommendation. <br /> <br />Public Comment <br />The following community members addressed the Council: Pam Lemos <br /> <br />Motion and Second by CM González//MPT Koperski to close the public hearing. <br />Vote: Motion carried with CM Suchil absent. <br /> <br />Council Discussion <br />Discernment and discussion between Mayor and Councilmembers present, with clarification provide by staff: <br />Director Dickinson and Director Tomich. <br /> <br />Motion and Second by CM Toro/CM Cisneros to approve and adopt Resolution No. R-94-22. <br />Vote: Motion carried with CM Suchil absent. <br /> <br />(2) Zoning Text Amendment - Downtown Car Wash <br /> <br /> TIME AND PLACE FIXED TO CONSIDER A PUBLIC HEARING TO INTRODUCE BY TITLE <br />ONLY AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON TO AMEND <br />SECTION CHAPTERS 18.04 AND 18.06 OF TITLE 18 (ZONING) OF THE COLTON MUNICIPAL <br />CODE RELATED TO MODIFYING, ADDING OR AMENDING DEFINITIONS, PERMITTED <br />USES, IN THE GENERAL COMMERCIAL DOWNTOWN ZONE AND ADMINISTRATION, <br />ORDINANCE NO.
