R-117-22 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br />AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR 2022/2023 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT <br />BUDGET <br />WHEREAS, the City of Colton ("City") is a municipal corporation duly organized and <br />existing pursuant to the Constitution and laws of the State of California; and, <br />WHEREAS, the City intends to support the City's goal to improve the City's traffic safety <br />and infrastructure; and, <br />WHEREAS, the City of Colton received Active Transportation Program (ATP) funds to <br />construct the West Colton Class I Bike Trail Project; and, <br />WHEREAS, the City of Colton needs to allocate additional funding in the amount of <br />$15,180.00 to perform the necessary public outreach for the re -alignment of the Project; and, <br />WHEREAS, the necessary funding will be provided thru Local Traffic Impact Fee; and, <br />WHEREAS, a budget appropriation not listed in the Fiscal Year 2022/2023 budget is <br />required and must be approved by resolution of the City Council. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br />DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1 The above recitals are true and correct. <br />Section 2 The City Council authorizes the following amendment for the FY22/23 budget: <br />• Appropriate $15,180.00 from reserve balance in Local Traffic Impact Fund to capital <br />expenditure account number 249-2347-6150-3890-0000-000 for the West Colton Class <br />I Bike Trail Project. <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED THIS 1 <br />ATT <br />`CAROLINA R.
