RESOLUTION NO. R-119-22 <br /> 1 <br /> 2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br /> AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR 2022/2023 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT <br /> 3 BUDGET <br /> 4 WHEREAS, the City of Colton ("City") is a municipal corporation duly organized and <br /> existing pursuant to the Constitution and laws of the State of California; and, <br /> 5 <br /> WHEREAS, the City intends to support the City's goal to improve the City's traffic safety <br /> 6 and infrastructure; and, <br /> 7 WHEREAS, the City and San Bernardino County Transportation Authority (SBCTA) need <br /> 8 to amend Cooperative Agreement No.18-1001904 (Amendment No. 2) to incorporate the <br /> project construction and landscaping phase for the I-10/Mt. Vernon Avenue Interchange <br /> 9 Project; and, <br /> 10 WHEREAS, the City of Colton needs to allocate additional funding for City share in the <br /> amount of $3,288,790 to complete the construction phase of the project and will be provided <br /> 11 thru Infrastructure Traffic Impact Fee; and, <br /> 12 WHEREAS, a budget appropriation not listed in the Fiscal Year 2022/2023 budget is <br /> 13 required and must be approved by resolution of the City Council. <br /> 14 NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br /> DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 15 <br /> Section 1 The above recitals are true and correct. <br /> 16 <br /> Section,2 The City Council'authorizes the following amendment to the FY22/23 budget: <br /> 17 <br /> 18 • Appropriate $3,288,790 from reserve balance in the Traffic Impact Fund to capital <br /> improvement account number 249-2140-6150-3890-0000-000 for the I-10/Mt.
