R-25-03 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />COLTON AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF THE PURCHASE <br />AGREEMENT AND AGREEING TO THE PURCHASE PRICE OF <br />TAX DEFAULTED REAL PROPERTIES; ASSESSOR PARCEL <br />NOS. 0161-221-03-0000, 0275-313-33-0000, 0275-313-61-0000 <br />WHEREAS, the Agency and City Council established the Cooley Ranch <br />Redevelopment Project with the adoption of Ordinance No. 1478 on July 29, 1975, and <br />subsequently amended the Cooley Ranch Redevelopment Project with the adoption of Ordinance <br />No. 1559 on January 16,1979, Ordinance No. 1574 on December 18,1979, and Ordinance No. 0 <br />8-86 on June 3, 1986; and <br />WHEREAS, the Agency and City Council established the Mt. Vernon Corridor <br />Redevelopment Project with the adoption of Ordinance No. 0-8-87 on June 30, 1987; and <br />WHEREAS, the San Bernardino County Treasurer- Tax Collector has scheduled to <br />sell certain real property APN 0161-221-03-0000,0275-313-33-0000, and 0275-313-61-0000 (the <br />"Properties7); and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Chapter 8 of the Revenue and Taxation Code a <br />Redevelopment Agency may object to the sale and apply for the purchase of such tax -defaulted <br />property located within a designated survey area; and <br />WHEREAS, the Agency is desirous of acquiring said Properties forthe preservation <br />and development of low -moderate income housing; and <br />correct. <br />SB2001:2460.1 <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, DETERMINED AND ORDERED BY THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1.
